the way of books

Bodhisattva once said home is where my books are. Here you see some of the books accumulated over the last half year.

Most of which we will bring back to Austria tomorrow. Yes we are going to drive home for a week and use the occasion to bring some of our belongings over.

On Friday the 22nd we will take the ferry from Roslair to Roscoff. Once in France we will drive through Le Mans and Paris before we hit the German border near Saarbürcken from where we will drive more or less straight to Austria. I hope we find some time for stops every now and then, this time nothing is stressing us.

our austrian shack

I thought I post some pictures of our Austrian dwelling by sunshine for a change. Before it is covered in snow again.

A very nice place to live it, just a few houses in the middle of nowhere.

We occupy the first flour. Gudrun’s mother is living downstairs and keeping the place warm and neat for us. We pay our share on electricity and heating, but coming home these days is always kind of a strange feeling.

Our pride and pleasure is one room we converted into a little library by covering 3 of the sides with shelves.

If things turn out as planed, I will see it and my little toy once again before Christmas.
