the irish highlands
Last week a friend came over, who actually owns, what he call’s a little house in Ireland.

Right.
On Saturday he showed us around the Irish Highlands. Which also proofed to be a good opportunity to play a bit with our new toys.

What a wonderful view.

Irish highlands? The original highlands are in Scotland

We of course know that, but why shouldn’t there be Irish Highlands as well?
There are also Southern Alps and they are not even in Europe

Actually, we where in the Knockmaeldown Mountains. But M refers to the whole area from the Boggerhagh to the Monavullagh Mountains as the Irish Highlands. For obvious reasons.
